Softball Field Workday

The Tualatin Valley Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has awarded Trinity a $1,500 grant for improving our softball/athletic field. The field has been used by the Westside Lutheran Fellowship Softball League and the community for a number of years.

In order to continue its use, work needs to be done to improve the drainage and condition of the infield. This can be accomplished by adding a sand/clay mixture and soil conditioner. The best time to do this work is before the fall rains set in, so Saturday, August 23rd has been set aside to have a workday. The Thrivent grant will buy the minimum necessary supplies.
